Angel Haze – New York

The Rah Band – Messages From The Stars

Back in the 70’s this disco-funk track only made it to number 42 in the singles charts. These days, however, it’s a deep and sleezy not-so-guilty-anymore pleasure and it’s totally cool.

The ‘Original Astro Mix – Atjazz Re-Edit‘ was created, supposedly for the bigger soundsystem, but I think the original is way better.

Azealia Banks – 1991

Some Azealia Banks ‘agro-bitch wit’ from the EP ‘1991’ (named after the year of her birth). It’s bouncy.

Alpine – Gasoline

Alpine are from Australia. This tune is nice.

Ben Pearce – What I Might Do

Melodic, bassy house from Manchester-based artist Ben Pearce.

Milscot ft. Angela Sheik – All Alone (Domyan Just Slow Remix)

A track from the Maya Jane Coles DJ Kicks Compilation,  which also features her super bassssssy tune ‘Not Listening’ which you can hear via beatport.

The Makers – Don’t Challenge Me

Sci-Fi jam.

Taken from Personal Space: Electronic Soul 1974-1984, a compilation of underground, self-produced electronic soul music from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Released on Chocolate Industries.

Evian Christ – Thrown Like Jacks

Another haunting Tri Angle records release. By 22 year old hip hop / down tempo producer Evian Christ aka Joshua Leary. If you like this kind of thing he’s released a mixtape “Kings and Them” which you can listen to here.

Balam Acab – See Birds

Ghostly goose-pimply track from the ‘See Birds’ EP, released on Tri Angle records.
